6 medium apples, diced
1 ½ cups water
1 tsp cinnamon
Bring apples and water to a boil and then simmer for 20 minutes until soft enough to mash. Leaving skins on the apples adds texture, fiber and other nutrients! Mix in cinnamon thoroughly. Serve warm or chilled.
